*Do you have a condition that is not mentioned here? Our doctors treat a variety of conditions, feel free to call today for a complimentary 15 min phone consultation, and we can let you know how we can help, or refer you to someone that can.
Your initial consultation will be two (2) visits. The first one will consist of an in-depth discussion of your medical history to understand the events which led you to your current state of health. It will take approximately an hour to an hour and a half. We will review any of your results from lab work that may have been conducted over the last 12 months. If we deem that additional lab work such as saliva, urine or blood tests are needed, we will address it with you and provide the means to conduct them.
During the second part of the visit, we will review our report of findings and put together a customized protocol to fit your individual needs to help you begin your healing journey.
The cost for your initial consultation broken down in 2 different visits (first a consultation, then a report of findings with an individualized wellness plan) is $450.
Individual visits are $175.
* Prices are subject to change at anytime.
We do not accept insurance. However, we do accept Health Savings or Flex Spending Accounts.
We have a variety of labs that would be ordered depending on you and your specific health needs. This includes anything from regular bloodwork to more specialty labs such as stool (parasites, bacteria, or overall digestive imbalances), we test saliva (for hormones, adrenal, or neurotransmitter testing), or we can test urine testing (organic acids, hormones, or toxic panels). For tests requiring bloodwork, we work closely with Quest Diagnostics.
Any tests would be recommended depending on your specific needs and conditions.
Yes, if you have blood work that was done within the last 6-12 months, we are able to use what you have already. However, we do look for more ‘optimal’ levels of test results instead of what is considered the standard ‘normal’, so the need to run additional testing if what you have is not complete may be deemed necessary.
Yes, we carry physician-grade supplements. They are available at our office or for purchase online. All of our supplements are high-quality, organic supplements that have been re-searched and known for their efficacy.
No, we are unable to provide injectable or IV treatments at this time.
Have you been told your labs are “normal” but you still feel like something is wrong?
When it comes to lab work, we look for more ‘optimal’ levels of blood work with underlying imbalances and deficiencies instead of what just falls in the ‘normal’ range. As a new patient, we start by determining which lab tests need to be done. We run specialty blood, hair, saliva, and urine testing. This will help us to determine what imbalances you have, so we know what protocol would be needed to optimize your health.
Examples of Labs that may be performed:
- Traditional Blood Testing
- Hormonal Saliva and/or Blood Tests
- Full Thyroid Marker Testing
- Nutritional Vitamin Deficiencies
- Hair Mineral & Toxic Element Testing
- Food Sensitivity Testing
- Stool Analysis Testing
- Cholesterol Particle Testing (determines your overall risk)
- Organic Acid Testing (for body system analysis)
- Neurotransmitter Testing (for mood & sleep imbalances)
- Autoimmunity Testing Cyrex Labs
We take the time to explain what each result means, so that you understand them clearly. This is followed up with a specific treatment plan customized to meet your specific needs, so you can begin your healing journey.
Letting thy food be thy medicine...
At Charlotte Natural Wellness, we look at how food influences the maintenance of your specific health and the prevention, alleviation, or cure of disease. Which, by the way, is the definition of medicine.
By equipping you with knowledge and understanding of your specific nutritional needs, you can allow food to be your medicine and medicine to be your food, as Hippocrates recommended long ago.
We help you understand how different foods may interact with specific genes in your body to modify the risk of common chronic diseases such as Type II diabetes, obesity, heart disease, stroke and certain forms of cancer.
