Why patients choose us
Care that’s personal, not copied and pasted
Unrushed visits
Your first visit is a full hour. We listen to your symptoms, your history and what you’ve already tried, so nothing gets rushed.
Testing that adds value
We use testing where it helps and read results alongside how you feel. A normal result doesn’t always explain how you feel.
A plan that fits your life
Nutrition, lifestyle and physician-grade supplements where they help, adjusted at each follow-up as you improve.
What to expect
A clear path: foundations, restoration, maintenance
- 01
Foundations
A 1-hour first visit to review your history, symptoms and any recent labs. About 3 to 4 weeks later, a 30-minute visit to review results and options.
- 02
Restoration
Over about 3 to 6 months, 30-minute follow-ups typically every 4 to 6 weeks. Much of the work on root causes happens here, including diet, lifestyle and inflammation.
- 03
Maintenance
Follow-ups every 3 or 6 months, or once a year. Health is an ongoing process, and we help you keep what’s working.

Labs that go beyond “normal”
We order the labs that fit your needs and read them alongside your symptoms. We look for optimal levels, not only the standard “normal” range. You don’t need results to get started, and bloodwork from the last 6 to 12 months can often be used.
- Standard bloodwork through Quest Diagnostics and Labcorp
- Full thyroid marker testing
- Saliva testing for hormones, adrenal function or neurotransmitters
- Urine testing for organic acids, hormones or toxins
- Stool testing for parasites, bacteria and digestive imbalances
- Nutrient, food sensitivity and autoimmunity panels when they add value
Also part of your plan
- Clinical nutrition and lifestyle guidance
- Physician-grade supplements, in our office or online
- Herbal medicine and homeopathy
- Cold laser therapy and Alpha-Stim® for pain, anxiety and sleep support
- Applied kinesiology (muscle testing)
Lab costs vary by test. We talk through what’s needed, and why, before you order anything.

FAQ
Good to know before you start
Still wondering about something? Our team is happy to help.
What is naturopathic medicine, and how is it different from functional medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is whole-person care tailored to you, with an emphasis on prevention and self-care. Instead of focusing only on symptoms, it looks for the underlying cause of a condition. Functional medicine adds in-depth lab testing to understand how your body’s systems affect each other. At Charlotte Natural Wellness, you get both.
What happens at my first visit?
Your new patient visit lasts about an hour. We take an in-depth look at your medical history, your symptoms and the events that led to your current health, and review any lab work from the past 12 months. If more testing is needed, we explain why and arrange it. About 3 to 4 weeks later, a 30-minute follow-up reviews your results and options.
How much does care cost? Do you take insurance?
The new patient visit is 60 minutes and costs $550 with either doctor. At your second visit, your doctor will recommend whether a 3-visit package ($750) or a 6-visit package ($1,500) fits you best, with a pay-monthly option of $275 per month. The 15-minute discovery call is free with Dr. Vaghela and $15 with Dr. Dillon. Lab costs vary by test. We don’t accept insurance, but you can pay with your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
What labs do you run, and can I use results from another doctor?
We order the labs that fit your needs, from standard bloodwork through Quest Diagnostics and Labcorp to specialty saliva, urine and stool testing when it adds value. If you have bloodwork from the last 6 to 12 months, we can often use it. We look for optimal levels rather than only the standard “normal” range, so we may suggest more testing if your results are incomplete.
Do you offer virtual visits?
Yes. Discovery calls are by phone, and new patient and follow-up visits are available in person at our South Charlotte office or by video from home, at the same pricing. See how virtual visits work.
Which concerns do you help with, and which don’t you?
We specialize in women’s health and hormones, thyroid, digestion, fatigue and stress, and autoimmunity. We don’t offer IV therapy or injectable vitamins, Dr. Dillon does not treat Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, and we’re unable to do wellness exams or sports physicals for children. Don’t see your concern? Book a discovery call and we’ll tell you how we can help, or refer you to someone who can.
